As a mom, I feel like the last day of school is always bittersweet. I’m just as excited as the kids to enter summer and all the fun times it has to offer. But the last day of school also makes me a little sad. It reminds me how much older my boys are becoming and that they are no longer babies. I always think about “How many more Summers I will have with my boys before they go to college?” This thought makes me want to savour every minute of Summer, but before I close the chapter on another school year, there are a few things I need to do first! Accomplishing these tasks will make my busy mom life a little bit easier and will help me remember the previous school year. With my mind at easy, I can look forward to Summer and all it has to offer without worrying about the past.
