Hi! It’s Tuesday! Time for another time saving tip. This tip is more about saving your sanity than saving your time:) With Easter this coming weekend, my mind is on egg over load real and plastic! With all the eggs in the house, I have been doing a lot of baking and scrambling. One thing I hate about eggs is when I get a piece of broken egg shell in the bowl! Ugh! The shell piece is always sliding around and sticks to the egg white. So annoying! I thought I would share an easy trick to help you retrieve that broken shell from the bowl without any frustration at all.
Next time you find a broken piece of egg shell in your bowl, don’t reach for a spoon or a fork! Don’t try using your finger either. These attempts will only make the broken piece swim around in the bowl. And you will become frustrated with your game of catch me if you can! The easiest trick I have learned doesn’t require any special tools or skills. All you need to use is half of the egg shell you cracked!
Just stick that egg shell half right under the broken piece and gently scoop up. The broken piece will magically stick to the shell! Awesome right! All these years and you never knew!
No more digging or catching. No more frustration!
Only sweet satisfaction!
Next time you have a broken egg shell, I hope you will remember to use the egg shell half to magically scoop that broken piece right our of your bowl! I just love easy tips like this. If you have any great ones, I’d love to hear about it!
